Is Overwhelm at Work Taking Over Your Life? Here’s What You Can Do About It

Have you ever felt like the world is on your shoulders and everything is just too much? In today’s fast-paced world, we are constantly bombarded with changes that can be overwhelming. The pandemic, digitization, and new technologies are just some of the many factors that contribute to this feeling of being overwhelmed.

Signs of Overwhelm

As a mindset expert, speaker, and author, I’ve seen firsthand how overwhelm can affect our daily lives. Feeling heavy around your eyes, being unable to focus, and mental processing being tough are just some of the symptoms that people experience when dealing with overwhelm.

If you’ve ever found yourself falling asleep in front of the TV or missing most of a movie at the cinema, you’re not alone. These little signs may be an indication that you’re struggling with overwhelm. When this happens, we often end up with little outstanding tasks that become bigger tasks, such as paying bills or dealing with HMRC.

Take Control of Overwhelm

The good news is that you don’t have to suffer from overwhelm forever. I’ve developed a simple tool that can help you take control of your life and overcome overwhelm. It’s called the “Today, Tomorrow, Next Week, Sometime” method.

The first step is to write down a list of everything you can do today. Don’t miss anything or think it’s too hard, just write everything down. Then, write another list of what you can do tomorrow. This helps you focus on the present moment and gives you a sense of control.

All the other tasks that are overwhelming you can be split into the next week and sometime boxes. By focusing on what you can do today and tomorrow, you’ll start to feel like you’re in control. Making changes today will change the outcome of tomorrow, and we all want a nice future for ourselves and our loved ones.

Remember, you owe it to yourself and your loved ones to make changes today. By using this simple tool, you can take control of your life and start living the life you want.

Need More Support?

If you need more support, I encourage you to download my free e-book called ‘What Your Purpose.” It will help you change lanes from a life on autopilot that’s filled with overwhelm and stress to a clear, calm path leading to your dream life.

In conclusion, overwhelm can be a challenging emotion to overcome, but it’s not impossible. By using the “Today, Tomorrow, Next Week, Sometime” method, you can take control of your life and start living the life you want. Start small and remember that change takes time, but with persistence, you can overcome overwhelm and achieve your goals.
