It’s undoubted that Mental Health could be summarised as ‘the way we feel’. I’m not talking about serious psychiatric medical disorders here; I’m talking about the 1 in 4 of us who have to deal with what’s being labelled as ‘Mental Health Issues’. My signature talk focuses on why we do the things we do and feel the way we feel.
If we are Happy and Fulfilled, then surely, we feel Happy and Fulfilled right?
Obvious but true, we are all driven by our emotions, in other words, how we feel. So, it’s an obvious statement to say that how we feel is based on our actions and achievements.
If we’re a person that expresses our anger to get what we want in life, it’s a given that we feel angry! The same goes for achievements gained through giving and being supportive produces a nice feeling of satisfaction.
Our actions determine or emotions and our emotions determine our actions and emotions are how we feel.
It’s about awareness and making a choice for ourselves. We decide how we emotionally deal with situations, which then determines our actions.
When we understand the cause of the symptom, then we can take action to change the action, which will change the outcome, which will change the way we feel.
Mental Health isn’t the issue, it’s the symptom, I will expertly talk and explain what the real issue is and what we can do about it to feel happy and fulfilled.
It really is mind blowing stuff!
